Junior Planning Engineer

**Junior Planning Engineer (Infrastructure, Landscape \& Construction Projects)** 📍 Dubai, UAE 🕒 Full\-Time We are looking for a Junior Planning Engineer to join our team and support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for infrastructure, landscaping, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of project planning tools, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with site teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project progress. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. Assist in the preparation and updating of project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project 2\. Track project progress and update actual vs planned activities 3\. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports 4\. Coordinate with site teams to collect accurate progress data 5\. Identify potential delays and highlight them to the Project Manager 6\. Support the development of recovery plans for delayed activities 7\. Maintain updated project schedules, baselines, and revisions 8\. Monitor project milestones and key deliverables 9\. Assist in resource planning including manpower and equipment tracking 10\. Participate in project meetings and provide planning updates 11\. Maintain proper documentation of schedules and reports **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** 1\. Timely preparation and updating of project schedules 2\. Accuracy of progress tracking and reporting 3\. Timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports 4\. Early identification and reporting of project delays 5\. Effective coordination with site teams for data collection 6\. Maintenance of updated and accurate planning records 7\. Support in achieving project milestones as per schedule 8\. Efficient tracking of manpower and resource utilization 9\. Contribution to delay mitigation and recovery planning **Requirements** 1\. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 2\. 1–2 years of experience in planning or site coordination (UAE experience preferred) 3\. Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project 4\. Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing 5\. Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills 6\. Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
