Junior MEP Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The candidate will assist with the design, analysis, and implementation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in the design and implementation of MEP systems.

• Conduct site inspections and evaluations to ensure project compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
• Perform calculations and analyses to determine project specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving MEP-related issues on-site.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
• Ensure that all work is in line with local codes and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering.

• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within construction projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering or a related field.

• Professional certification or licensure as required by local authorities.
• Demonstrated experience in MEP design and implementation.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as ASHRAE, NEC, and IPC.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Valid driver's license for on-site visits if required.

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience with sustainable design and energy efficiency practices.

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Basic understanding of construction project phases and workflows.
