Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer (Army Retired) role based in Rahimyar Khan. The Civil Engineer will oversee planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings and calculations, reviewing project plans, managing site activities, and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The role involves conducting inspections, monitoring stormwater and drainage systems, and implementing quality control measures to maintain structural integrity and project timelines. The Civil Engineer will also use prior military experience to support disciplined project management, risk assessment, and resource optimization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply technical standards to practical project work.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on site, including planning, supervision, and coordination of construction activities.
- Knowledge of Planning processes for infrastructure projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost monitoring.
- Competence in Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related hydraulic and hydrologic analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Previous service in the Army with relevant engineering or construction experience, and the ability to leverage military discipline and leadership in civilian projects.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to Rahimyar Khan and surrounding regions.
- Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools) and strong technical documentation skills.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities, with a focus on on-site decision-making
