*POSITION:* Junior Accountant

*JOB TYPE:* Full-Time (On-Site)

*Location:*

Block 13C, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi

*SHIFT TIMINGS:* 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM

*WORKING DAYS* : 6 days a week

*SALARY:* PKR 50,000 – 55,000 per month (total compensation depends on qualifications and experience)

*ABOUT THE ROLE*

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage our books of accounts, payroll processing, petty cash, and FBR-related tax filing support. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real ownership over a company's financial operations not just data entry.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*

Payroll Processing (Monthly) Calculate salaries, deductions, overtime, and allowances

Prepare salary sheets and coordinate with HR/attendance data

Handle leave encashment, gratuity, and final settlements

Maintain bank transfer sheets and disbursement records

*1) Petty Cash Management*

Maintain the cash-in-hand register Record and approve day-to-day office expenses Reconcile petty cash weekly/monthly Handle replenishment requests.

*2) Books of Accounts*

Record daily transactions vendor payments, utility bills, rent, and other expenses

Maintain ledgers (expense-side accounting)

Perform bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly expense summaries and cash flow reports for management

*3) FBR \& Tax Compliance*

Deduct and manage withholding tax on salaries

Assist with monthly withholding tax statement filing on the FBR IRIS portal

Support annual/bi-annual company tax return filing (guided by a tax consultant)

Willingness to learn and stay updated on relevant FBR laws and procedures

*WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR*

Part-qualified CA / ACCA / CMA, or a BBA / B.Com graduate, or a relevant degree with hands-on accounting practice

1+ years of experience managing the books of accounts for an organization

Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ERP, or similar)

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, basic reporting)

Basic understanding of FBR filing processes is a plus full training and support will be provided

Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Honest, organized, and reliable this role involves handling company cash and confidential financial records

Ability to work independently and meet recurring deadlines

Available for the 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM shift, 6 days a week
