About the Role
We are partnering with a fast\-growing international fintech group that is expanding its licensed consumer lending business in Pakistan. As part of the company’s market entry and regional expansion strategy, they are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead and build the local HR function from the ground up.
This is a hands\-on leadership opportunity for a mature HR professional who is comfortable operating in a fast\-paced, entrepreneurial, and cross\-border environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full spectrum of HR operations for the Pakistan business, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation \& benefits, and HR policies.
* Build and optimize local HR processes and operational frameworks to support business growth.
* Drive talent acquisition for key functions including business operations, risk, finance, compliance, customer service, and support teams.
* Partner closely with management on workforce planning, organizational structure, and hiring strategies.
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, payroll practices, and internal policies.
* Handle employee relations matters and support a stable, compliant, and positive working environment.
* Support office setup and administration coordination, including vendor management and workplace operations.
* Act as a communication bridge between local teams and regional/international management.
* Provide regular HR updates, reports, and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
* 10\+ years of HR experience, including hands\-on exposure to full\-function HR management.
* Prior experience in fintech, consumer finance, banking, internet, or financial services industries is strongly preferred.
* Experience supporting business expansion, new market entry, or office setup projects is highly valued.
* Strong understanding of recruitment, HR operations, labor compliance, compensation \& benefits, and employee relations.
* Familiarity with regulated business environments is an advantage.
* Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Strong execution ability, problem\-solving skills, and cross\-cultural communication capability.
* Mature, proactive, and comfortable working independently in an evolving business environment.
Preferred Profile
* HR leadership experience within fintech or lending\-related businesses.
* Experience working with international or regional management teams.
* Exposure to startup, scaling\-stage, or multinational business environments.
