Job Description

Head of Accounting (Stockholm or Amsterdam based)

Are you an accountant who would rather build a finance function than just close the books? Are you as interested in developing new ways of working, using the latest technology, as you are in the balance sheet? Keen to lead group accounting across a fast-growing European group? If so, this might be the role you’ve been looking for.

About We Are Undo \& the Role

During 2026, Rethink \& Undo are joining forces under one unified brand, We Are Undo. Our mission is to change the perception of tattoos as something permanent. Today we are the market leader in Scandinavia with 12 clinics under the Rethink brand and the Netherlands with 6 clinics, with a dedicated team of around 50 people.

We are growing fast. Backed by private equity capital, our ambitious plan is to scale from 18 to more than 60 clinics by 2029, expanding further into the UK, Germany, and Belgium. That growth runs on a finance function we are deliberately building to be best-in-class: with Netsuite as the core, leaning on AI and automation for the day-to-day. As Head of Accounting, you will own the accounting backbone that makes this scale possible.

Your Base and Team

You will work hybrid from our office in Stockholm or Amsterdam. You will report directly to the Group CFO who is based in Stockholm and work alongside him on a genuinely modern finance stack.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. Rather than managing a large team, you will coordinate a handful of local accounting consultants across our markets and oversee an increasingly automated accounting structure. You will be one of the people defining how that human-plus-AI finance team works, with the freedom to shape processes from the ground up.

In this role, you will:

  • Own Group Reporting \& Consolidation:

Run the multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation from the UK holding company down through our operating entities and own the integrity of the group numbers.

  • Lead the Group Audit:

Take responsibility (with support from the CFO) for the group audit, from our UK holding company down, coordinating multiple local auditors across jurisdictions and keeping everyone to timeline.

  • Own the Accounting Backbone:

Take ownership of accounting policy, the close process, and reporting quality across the group, ensuring consistency as we add entities and enter new markets.

  • Drive the ERP \& Automation Agenda:

Help embed NetSuite as our group ERP and push the automation agenda forward, designing workflows where AI agents handle routine bookkeeping and reconciliation, so that the finance team can focus on review, judgement, and control.

  • Coordinate Local Partners:

Manage and align our local accounting consultants, setting the standard for how work is delivered and reviewed across markets.

What we are looking for

  • Accounting Foundation:

A solid accounting background with roughly 3–6 years of relevant experience. You know how a clean close and a real audit work in practice, not just in theory.

  • International Exposure:

You have worked in an international, multi-entity or multi-currency context and are comfortable navigating more than one country’s accounting and audit environment.

  • Audit Confidence:

You have been close to statutory audits and are ready to step up and coordinate them across entities, working with multiple auditors at once.

  • Technology-Forward Mindset:

You are genuinely excited about technology in finance. You see AI and automation as central nodes in a modern finance function, and you want to help building it. Comfort with tools, data, and a willingness to experiment matter more to us than years on a CV.

  • ERP Experience:

Hands-on experience with a modern ERP is necessary. NetSuite is a real plus; experience with a comparable system (e.g. a mid-market or tier-one ERP) is what we’d expect to see.

  • Ownership \& Pragmatism:

You take ownership, you are pragmatic, and you are happy in a hands-on role where you do the work as well as design how it gets done.

  • Communication:

Fluent in English, which is our working language across the group.

What we offer

  • A rare chance to help build a state-of-the-art, AI-native finance function from an early stage, not inherit a legacy one.
  • High ownership and direct access to the Group CFO, with real influence over how group accounting and audit are run.
  • A front-row seat to a fast-growing, PE-backed European buy-and-build story, scaling from 18 to 60+ clinics across multiple countries.
  • Hybrid working from Stockholm or Amsterdam, within an informal, ambitious, and international team.
  • The room to experiment with modern tooling and automation, and to shape your own role as the function grows.
