About the Organisation The client is UAE based marine services company with over three decades of operational heritage in the Gulf. The business owns and operates a diversified fleet including Crew Boats, Pilot Boats, DP2\-class AHTS and PSV vessels, Supply Vessels, Maintenance Vessels, and Landing Craft; deployed exclusively in support of the offshore oil and gas sector. Job Description This role demands a leader who can hold multiple agendas simultaneously. The business has the client credibility, dual\-market presence, and fleet capability to support an expanding offshore program. The incoming General Manager must integrate commercial growth, operational excellence, people strategy, and shareholder expectations into a coherent whole, while navigating an energy market that is simultaneously accelerating upstream investment and beginning to price in the longer\-term pressures of decarbonization. Key Responsibilities STRATEGY \& MARKET POSITIONING Develop and own a comprehensive 3\-year business strategy addressing fleet positioning, contract pipeline, geographic scope, and emerging risks from energy transition and regulatory tightening. COMMERCIAL LEADERSHIP Lead the renewal and expansion of strategic contract portfolios with key national and regional energy operators, maintaining and growing the core revenue engine of the business. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE \& HSE Ensure fleet operations, maintenance standards, and HSE performance meet or exceed the requirements of Tier 1 NOC clients with zero LTI as a stated leadership commitment. FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP Own full P\&L accountability across UAE and KSA operations, reporting to the Board on a structured, transparent basis. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT Maintain an active and trust\-based relationship with the board and the shareholder group aligned on strategy, transparent on performance, proactive on risk Qualification \& Experience  15\+ years marine / offshore services with 5\+ years as CEO, MD, or GM  Experience as an approved contractor to leading Gulf energy operators, with a strong delivery record within their procurement and contractor management frameworks  Bachelors in Marine Engineering, Business or related. MBA or executive education (preferred).
