Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

• Design, build, and iterate on prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new product features.
• Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and libraries; run benchmarks and document trade-offs.
• Translate research papers, technical specs, or vague product hypotheses into working code.
• Partner with product, design, and core engineering to hand off validated concepts for product ionization.
• Write unit and integration tests for the code you own — enough to make results reproducible and to give the receiving team confidence at handoff

Build small test harnesses, fixtures, and mocks that let us validate an idea quickly.

• Write clear technical documentation, experiment write-ups, and internal demos.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help define engineering standards for new initiatives.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• 1-2 years building and shipping software in a professional setting.
• Strong programming fundamentals in [JavaScript / PHP / Python / Kotlin].
• Comfortable working across the stack — frontend (Next.js, React), backend, or both.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design able to reason about performance, scalability, and trade-offs even at prototype stage.
• Experience with version control, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work independently on loosely defined problems and communicate findings clearly.
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests with a standard framework and a working understanding of mocking, fixtures, and test isolation

Good judgement about what to test — able to tell the difference between a throwaway spike and code that needs a real test suite.

• Familiarity with test automation in CI pipelines, coverage tooling.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to ML/AI.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
