As part of our continued growth and international expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic, fast-paced business operating across multiple countries and supporting a broad range of customers.
The Role
The Financial Accountant will support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, month-end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance, and financial controls across an international group structure.
The successful candidate will work closely with finance leadership and key stakeholders across the business, supporting financial decision-making and helping to drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and board reporting packs.
- Assist with consolidated Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reporting.
- Prepare supporting schedules for annual statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Support monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Monitor and report on key financial and operational performance metrics.
- Support working capital management and cashflow reporting.
- Assist with foreign exchange monitoring and reporting activities.
- Work alongside external auditors and support audit requirements.
- Prepare statutory filings, tax returns and regulatory submissions where required.
- Support financial control reviews and governance processes.
- Assist with acquisition integration projects and related accounting considerations.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of finance systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support to senior leadership.
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 3–5+ years' post-qualified experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
- Strong understanding of IFRS reporting requirements.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Experience working within a multi-entity and/or international business environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to partner with operational stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP or cloud-based finance systems would be advantageous.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
