More and more customers are discovering our ability to deliver local engineering capabilities within a wide range of areas – not seldom in combination with other global EDAG sites, colleagues and competences to accommodate larger projects and undertakings. **About The Role** Our automotive customer is looking for an experienced hardware\-oriented engineer to join their infotainment and connectivity domain. This role focuses on the development and validation of automotive radio systems (FM/DAB), with strong emphasis on RF and analog electronics within vehicle infotainment platforms. The team is responsible for ensuring robust hardware implementation, seamless integration, and high\-performance radio functionality across vehicle programs. They work with advanced infotainment systems, aiming to deliver reliable and high\-quality audio and radio experiences to end users. In this role, you will contribute to hardware development, integration, and validation activities, while also supporting requirements definition and gaining a broader system\-level understanding. You will play an important part in ensuring that radio performance meets both technical requirements and customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with system architects, software development teams, hardware suppliers, and verification teams, working together to deliver optimized and high\-performing radio solutions across vehicle platforms. You will be part of a cross\-functional and innovative environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of infotainment systems in next\-generation vehicles. **Who You Are** You bring a strong analytical mindset combined with hands\-on problem\-solving capabilities, allowing you to approach complex challenges with clarity and structure. You communicate effectively with both technical experts and broader stakeholder groups, adapting your message to suit the audience and ensuring alignment across the organization. **What You Will Do** * Design, evaluate, and integrate FM/DAB radio hardware within automotive infotainment systems * Drive RF and analog performance, ensuring high standards in sensitivity, selectivity, and interference robustness * Perform hardware\-level analysis and troubleshooting, including signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and antenna/system interactions * Support hardware bring\-up and validation, including lab testing and in\-vehicle verification * Conduct root cause analysis of field and test issues from a hardware\-focused perspective * Ensure alignment between hardware design, system requirements, and software integration * Review and support requirements from a hardware feasibility and validation perspective (e.g., Car Viewer) * Collaborate closely with suppliers on hardware design, RF performance, and issue resolution * Participate in system\-level discussions covering radio performance, regulatory compliance, and user experience You will play a key role in delivering robust, high\-performance radio solutions, contributing to the development of next\-generation infotainment systems in modern vehicles. **Requirements** * Strong experience in RF and/or analog hardware design, preferably within automotive radio systems (FM/DAB) * Solid understanding of radio receiver architecture, antenna systems, and RF signal chains * Hands\-on experience with debugging and measurement tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes) * Experience working with EMC/EMI and automotive validation processes * Good understanding of hardware and software interaction in embedded systems * Experience collaborating with suppliers and reviewing hardware designs * Familiarity with requirements engineering and structured development tools is a plus * Fluent in English, both written and spoken
