Job Description
We’re looking for a remote  **Director of Business Development** in the Hospitality \& Professional services industry. Our client is a fast\-growing organization known for delivering strategic solutions that drive long\-term value for clients. The Director of Business Development will cover the **Ontario territory**  identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This is a high\-impact, individual contributor role focused on building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and supporting strategic initiatives. **Director of Business Development responsibilities:** * Research and identify new business opportunities through market analysis and lead generation * Develop customized proposals, presentations, and sales strategies that align with client needs * Build and manage senior\-level relationships within client organizations, including C\-suite stakeholders * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client solutions meet expectations and align with strategic goals * Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM system **The successful candidate has:** * 5\+ years of experience in a business development or “hunter” sales role \- ideally managing complex long sales cycles. * A strong entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of delivering sales results * Willingness to adopt and execute a proven sales model while applying their own sales acumen * Experience managing sales in sectors such as senior living, retirement, or hotel/hospitality * Strong communication, negotiation, and problem\-solving skills, with excellent time management * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM tools * Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time **Compensation and benefits:** * The discussed salary range is $120,000 – $130,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commissions. 200K\+ OTE. * Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered * Comprehensive benefits package * Flexible, fully remote work environment * Opportunities for growth within a supportive and high\-performing team **Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
