Principal Accountabilities Ensure the timely deduction of TDS in accordance with applicable laws and regulationsbr Deposit deducted TDS with the government treasury on or before the due dates to maintain compliancebr Conduct regular reconciliation of 26AS and ensure accurate reflection in the financial booksbr Verify that TDS is deducted at appropriate rates especially in cases involving nonoperative PANsbr Prepare comprehensive working documents to respond effectively to any TDS assessment noticesbr Utilize SAP and other ITrelated applications to streamline tax processes and enhance efficiencybr Demonstrate strong expertise in direct tax matters including tax audits and ITR preparation
