DevOps Engineer

We're looking for a versatile engineer who enjoys both software development and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you'll split your time between building applications, improving automation, and managing cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application features, internal tools, and automation solutions
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and support incident response
• Apply security best practices across cloud environments, applications, and deployment processes
• Support database administration, backups, performance tuning, and migrations
• Automate operational processes to improve developer productivity and platform reliability
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, deployment, and performance improvements
• Contribute to both application development and platform engineering initiatives
• Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization and operational efficiency
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience

What You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in Software Development, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE
• Strong coding skills in Python, Node.js, Go, PHP, or similar languages
• Hands-on AWS experience and cloud infrastructure management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux, scripting, automation, and cloud security best practices
• Experience with databases such as MySQL and application troubleshooting
• Ability to work across the full development lifecycle, from coding to deployment and production support

Nice to Have:

• SaaS or multi-tenant platform experience
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Security, compliance, or cost optimization experience
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience
