DevOps Engineer

**Role: Devops Engineer** **Location: Halifax, NS\-(Hybrid)** **Job Overview** Seeking a Devops Developer with Terraform to join a Data Insights team within the Data, Cloud \& Compute stream. This role focuses on cloud infrastructure automation using Infrastructure\-as\-Code (IaC), along with strong exposure to modern cloud platforms and enterprise\-scale data environments. Key Responsibilities **Cloud Infrastructure \& Platform Engineering** * Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure * Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and network\-related issues * Ensure stability, scalability, and performance of cloud environments **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)** * Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform * Build reusable, scalable, and reliable infrastructure components * Troubleshoot and optimize Terraform configurations for performance and maintainability **Containerization \& Orchestration** * Work with Kubernetes and containerized application environments * Support deployment and management of containerized workloads across cloud platforms **CI/CD Pipeline Support** * Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance * Ensure reliable and automated infrastructure and application delivery processes **Data Platform Exposure** * Work with cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake * Support data workflows and understand core data engineering concepts, including query federation **Programming \& Tooling** * Strong hands\-on experience with Python * Experience using version control and artifact management tools such as GitHub, Artifactory, and Nexus **Enterprise Integration** * Integrate SaaS platforms with enterprise systems * Work across multiple vendor and technology ecosystems in large\-scale environments **Required Experience** * Strong experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services environments * Proven hands\-on expertise in Terraform and cloud infrastructure automation * Experience troubleshooting complex cloud and distributed systems * Strong understanding of enterprise\-scale infrastructure delivery **Mohd Abid Rafie** **Next Level Business Services, Inc.** E\-mail: abid.rafie@recruiter.nlbtech.com
