You'll join a globally recognised financial services organisation building a large-scale on-premise data platform, with a strong engineering culture and focus on automation, open-source, and platform ownership.
Your new role
As a DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps experience desirable), you'll help build, configure and run an on-premise Kubernetes platform (OpenShift) supporting a private cloud environment.This is a hands-on platform role, not application support or cloud-only work.

- Drive automation, CI/CD and GitOps (no manual deployments)
- Integrate with networking, storage, and core infrastructure
- Build shared services (observability, secrets, environments)
What you'll need to succeed

5-7+ years in DevOps (DevSecOps ideal)
- Strong

n-prem Kubernetes experience
(not just cloud)
- Experience building \& running platforms, not just using them
- Knowledge of OpenShift, IaC, CI/CD, observability tools preferred
- Solid understanding of infrastructure (servers, storage, networking)
- Proactive, inquisitive, team-oriented mindset
Desirable tooling experience:
- OpenShift container platform
- Observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
- Secrets management (e.g. HashiCorp Vault)
- Git-based source control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
- Automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions)
- Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Java)
- Linux (Red Hat ecosystem)
- Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) alongside on-prem
