**DevOps Engineer (Application Packaging \& CI/CD)** About the Role We are seeking **a DevOps Engine** er with strong experience i **n application packaging, deployment, and CI/CD pipeline design and configurati** on. This role is ideal for someone with a broad, tool\-agnostic understanding of DevOps principles who can work across different environments and adapt quickly to varying technology stacks. You will play a key role in enabling efficient, reliable, and scalable software delivery by improving build, release, and deployment processes across multiple applications and teams. Key Responsibilities * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery * Manage application packaging, versioning, and deployment processes across environments. * Work closely with development teams to streamline release workflows and improve deployment reliability * Automate manual processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk * Support continuous improvement of build and release engineering practices * Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide rapid resolution to production incidents * Ensure consistency and stability across development, testing, staging, and production environments * Contribute to best practices around DevOps, automation, and release management Required Skills \& Experience * Strong understandin **g of DevOps principles and prac** tices * Experience designing and implemen **ting CI/CD pipe** lines * Hands\-on experience **with application packaging and deployment work** flows * Ability to work across multiple environments and adapt to different tooling ecosystems * Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail * Experience collaborating with development and QA teams in Agile environments * Understanding of software delivery lifecycles and release management processes Desirable Experience * Exposure to infrastructure automation or configuration management concepts * Experience with cloud\-based environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Familiarity with containerisation concepts (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) — not essential * Experience supporting large\-scale or enterprise application deployment * Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices * Scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell) What We’re Looking For * A pragmatic engineer who focuses on delivering reliable and efficient deployment processes * Someone comfortable working across multiple teams and technical stacks * A self\-starter who can identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements * A clear communicator who can bridge the gap between development and operations What’s on Offer * Flexible working arrangements * .Exposure to a wide range of technologies and environments * Supportive engineering culture focused on automation and continuous improvement * Competitive salary and benefits package
