Job Summary
Aaratech Inc. is seeking an AWS Cloud Security Engineer with experience in securing cloud environments and ensuring compliance with security standards. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across AWS infrastructure to protect data, applications, and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions for AWS cloud environments
- Monitor and manage cloud security using AWS security services
- Identify vulnerabilities and perform risk assessments
- Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and controls
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Conduct security audits, logging, and monitoring (CloudTrail, CloudWatch)
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to secure applications and infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud security or cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Knowledge of networking and security concepts
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield)
- Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- AWS certifications (Security Specialty or Solutions Architect) preferred
