Design Engineer, Civil

Job description: DAR Engineering is seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented Civil Design, Engineer to join our team! **Job Responsibilities:** * Prepare high\-quality Structural designs, ensuring they meet both quality standards and project timelines. * Perform detailed design analysis and calculations in line with project specifications. * Follow established design guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices. * Estimate construction costs and material requirements based on detailed designs * Utilize the latest software and technologies to create efficient and innovative designs. * Provide technical support and guidance to senior design team members as needed. * Proficient in structural analysis and design for Low, mid\-rise, and high\-rise buildings in healthcare, residential, offices, hospitality, entertainment. from Pre\-concept design to IFC stage. * Skilled in reviewing and guiding the preparation of structural drawings * Familiarity with relevant local and international codes and standards, including SBC, ACI, IBC, ASCE, and SASO standards. * Competent in design software like ETABs, SAFE, SAP, STAAD Pro, MS Excel, Drafting tools (CAD and REVIT), 3D platforms, and document management systems. * Knowledgeable in construction methods, materials, and local regulations. * Capable of client coordination and working both independently and as part of a team. * Experience in preparing specifications, design bases, engineering alternatives, BOQs, and value engineering. * Passionate about structural engineering with strong technical skills. * Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English for both presentation and documentation. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s/Master degree in Civil Engineering; certifications preferred. * Minimum 5\-8 years of experience in structural Concrete design and analysis for Low, mid\-rise, and high\-rise buildings in healthcare, residential, offices, hospitality, and entertainment sector Profile description:   DAR Engineering, a leading design \& engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia engaged in Power Generation, Electrical Transmission \& Distribution, Health Care \& High Rise Buildings.
