About The Role The Healthcare Customer Service Representative role is a vital position within our organization, designed to support consumers by providing exceptional service related to their healthcare benefits. Working remotely from your home in California, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their healthcare plans, coverage options, and related inquiries. Your empathetic approach and problem-solving skills will help ensure each customer interaction is handled with professionalism, accuracy, and care. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong empathy, patience, and attentiveness to customer needs
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Windows-based applications
  • A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace
  • A secure, high-speed wired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
  • Ability to work a set schedule including designated breaks and lunch periods

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers seeking assistance with healthcare benefits
  • Engage thoughtfully with customers to understand their specific needs and concerns
  • Research across multiple systems to resolve customer questions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide clear and accurate information to help consumers navigate healthcare options and coverage
  • Manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining professionalism and quality standards
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts, including breaks and lunch periods, to ensure consistent coverage
  • Document customer interactions accurately within the CRM system
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
