Cost Accountant

Title: Cost Accountant Location: Guelph, ON (5x on site per week) Duration: Permanent, fulltime Salary range: $65,000 \- $90,000 per year **JOB DESCRIPTION** Insight Global is looking for a skilled cost accountant for a leading manufacturing company to support cost accounting operations within a dynamic, innovative automotive environment. In this role, you’ll focus on cost analysis, BOM accuracy, variance reporting, and support month\-end close and financial reporting processes. You’ll partner with cross\-functional teams to deliver insights that drive operational and financial performance. This opportunity offers strong exposure to core cost accounting functions and growth within a globally recognized organization. **REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** \- 2\+ years of accounting experience within the manufacturing industry \- Extensive background in cost accounting and meeting deadlines \- Experience in data analysis, cost tracking tools, and working with BOMs, routings, and large datasets \-Educational background in accounting or finance **NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE** \- Previous experience working with PowerBI, SQL, Hyperion, Power Ledger, GSD system and TraX *We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.*
