Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead Human Resources initiatives. This role will oversee all aspects of HR, including employee relations, labor relations, performance management, compliance, recruitment, HR systems, training and development, and organizational growth.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can build trust at all levels of the organization while maintaining accountability and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. This individual will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, strengthening employee engagement, and supporting leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support employee relations and workplace investigations while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Manage labor and union relations, including interpreting collective agreements and providing guidance on employee matters.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS systems and HR processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive, productive workplace culture.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, balancing business needs with employee experience.
  • Participate in occasional travel between locations, 25% travel expectation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Management experience.
  • Strong experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of employment standards, labor legislation, and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting unionized environments and managing employee relations matters.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and manage sensitive information.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated salary: $90,000-$110,000 CAD annually.
