Cloud Engineer

Ideal candidate for this role is a highly skilled Azure Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and automation, responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise\-grade Azure environments. Location: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faislabad **Key Responsibilities:** * Troubleshoot Azure VM issues including boot failures, extension errors, and connectivity problems. * Manage Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Backup Vaults, restore operations, and retention policies. * Administer Azure Storage services (Blob, File, Table, Queue) including lifecycle management and access tiers. * Configure and maintain networking components such as VNets, NSGs, UDRs, Public IPs, VNet peering, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager. * Implement and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies using Azure\-native tools. * Monitor and enhance performance using Azure Advisor, Security Center, and Defender for Cloud. * Deploy and manage AKS clusters, integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). * Design secure and scalable network architectures for hybrid and cloud\-native environments. * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and automate operations using Azure CLI and PowerShell. * Perform performance tuning, cost optimization, and proactive troubleshooting. * Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure high availability of systems. **Requirements:** * 5\+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering or infrastructure roles. * Strong hands\-on expertise in Azure IaaS, networking, and security services. * Experience managing AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) in production environments. * Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM). * Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Azure CLI. * Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). * Solid understanding of BCDR strategies, monitoring, and cost optimization. * Strong problem\-solving and troubleshooting skills.
