Job Description
About Our Partnership Bitterne Park Primary School is part of The Learning Federation Partnership of Schools. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2025 and located on the east side of Southampton, we benefit from a spacious site that offers excellent facilities and enriching experiences for our children. These include a large sports field, well-equipped playgrounds, and a dedicated ECO area for weekly outdoor learning, alongside regular music and sports provision and a wide range of external trips and experiences.
Our children enjoy a carefully designed, engaging, and knowledge-rich curriculum. Learning is brought to life through key concepts that help them make meaningful connections and better understand the world around them. As a result, our pupils are highly engaged, well behaved, and approach their learning with a positive growth mindset.
Our team is collaborative, proactive, and reflective, with a shared commitment to the learning, development, and wellbeing of every child.
About The Role Inspiring, dedicated teachers improve our children's life chances and enrich their learning experience. Could you be the next member of our school teaching team to change the world for our children?
We are looking for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are looking for a new, inspiring school teaching experience in either Early Years, KS1 or KS2. This could be a fantastic opportunity for you to develop and grow as part of a highly motivated and forward thinking team.
The Leadership Team and Governors are looking for teachers who are passionate about changing children's lives. We pride ourselves on a rich collaborative approach to learning and offer outstanding professional development to all staff.
If you too are a passionate individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm and you feel you would flourish as part of a dynamic and forward thinking team, our children, staff and governors would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will benefit from one day a week professional development in the first instance and a comprehensive package of recruitment and retention incentives.
SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role involves working with children and young people and requires applicants to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post. All
applications are considered confidentially and according to the nature of the role and information disclosed.
