Class Teacher
Are you a nurturing, creative teacher with a passion for inclusive education? Our specialist primary school in Liverpool is seeking a full-time Class Teacher to support pupils with autism and learning difficulties.
This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a wide range of learning and sensory needs
- Foster a calm, structured environment where children feel safe, valued, and ready to learn
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to create holistic learning plans
- Use visual, sensory, and play-based approaches to promote communication and independence
- Champion each child’s progress—academic, emotional, and social
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching pupils with autism and/or learning difficulties (mainstream or SEN settings)
- Warmth, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a specialist setting
