Job Description
*We are a diversified* *Main Contractor* *seeking a qualified* *Civil Estimation Engineer* *to join our tendering and estimation team.*
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to understand project scope and support tender participation decisions.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and clarification requests by identifying discrepancies, missing information, or ambiguities.
- Issue RFQs, follow up with subcontractors and suppliers, review quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and support negotiation.
- Coordinate with procurement, construction, and technical teams to capture material, manpower, logistics, authority, and execution requirements.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and support Design \& Build proposals where applicable.
- Prepare estimate files using
CCS Candy
, including BOQ adjustments, bid profiling, and pricing analysis.
- Prepare and finalize technical and commercial tender submissions, including addenda, clarifications, and post-tender requirements.
*Key Skills:*
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in quantities, pricing, and tender documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Good English writing and presentation ability.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum
10 years of UAE main contracting experience
in civil estimation and tendering.
