**Job Title: Associate Lawyer** **Location: Markham, ON** **Salary Range: $75k – $120k annually** **Job Type: Full\-Time** **Role: On\-site** **About the Opportunity:** A boutique, fully remote law firm specializing in corporate\-commercial and private M\&A work is seeking a Junior Associate Lawyer with 1–3 years of relevant experience. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast\-paced, transactional environment, supporting a variety of corporate and commercial matters while managing files independently. The ideal candidate is self\-motivated, detail\-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a remote setting. **Key Responsibilities:** * Draft and review commercial agreements, including shareholder and service agreements * Manage transactional work such as business acquisitions and sales, including closing processes * Support corporate activities such as incorporations, reorganizations, and amendments * Assist with financing transactions and due diligence processes * Maintain case files and track deadlines while supporting senior legal professionals **Qualifications:** * Juris Doctor (JD) and member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario * 1–3 years of corporate\-commercial law experience (excluding articling) * Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills * Ability to manage workload independently in a remote environment **Notes:** The area of practice must be corporate law.
