Our client Riphah International University is looking for a Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Aesthetic Technology in Lahore Riphah International University seeks an experienced and dedicated Assistant Professor specializing in Aesthetic and Skin Care Technology. This role involves delivering comprehensive lectures and practical sessions that cover clinical aesthetic procedures, dermatology, and advanced skin care technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in skin anatomy, cosmetic chemistry, and dermatological equipment operation. Ensuring the integration of the latest research and technologies, the Assistant Professor will develop and update course materials to align with current industry practices. While you will not be managing a team, you are expected to provide academic support and mentorship to students, guiding them through detailed skin analysis and safe application of aesthetic treatments. The successful candidate will also conduct training on medical laser operations, including laser hair removal and other laser therapies, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols within the clinical education setting. Collaboration with academic and clinical departments will support the continuous enhancement of educational standards. Contributing to ongoing research in dermatology and aesthetic medicine forms a key part of your Responsibilities , along with participating in university committees to foster faculty and institutional development. To qualify, candidates must hold an MBBS or equivalent degree with specialization in Dermatology and relevant fellowships or certifications in aesthetics, complemented by a minimum of three years of professional experience. **Responsibilities** * Deliver detailed lectures and practical sessions on clinical aesthetic procedures, dermatology, and skin care technologies, ensuring clarity and engagement in the learning process. * Develop, update, and enhance course content regularly to reflect the latest advancements in aesthetic science and dermatology. * Guide students in conducting thorough skin analyses, applying principles of cosmetic chemistry safely and effectively within clinical settings. * Provide hands\-on training and supervision on the operation of dermatological lasers and phototherapy devices, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols. * Interpret and teach the integration of skin biopsy results and histological analysis to ensure a strong clinical foundation for students. * Assist in curriculum planning and development to incorporate new trends in patient consultation techniques, product formulation, and regulatory compliance. * Support and mentor students academically to promote critical thinking skills and practical expertise in skin care technology. * Engage actively in clinical and academic research projects to contribute to improvements and innovations in aesthetic medicine and dermatology. * Collaborate with faculty members and clinical departments to maintain educational quality and foster interdisciplinary learning opportunities. * Participate in university committees and contribute to initiatives that enhance faculty development and institutional growth. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to dermatological treatments, clinical research, and laboratory procedures. * Utilize dermatological imaging technologies and analytical testing methods to support educational objectives and clinical demonstrations. * Manage data collection and clinical trial design relevant to ongoing research and educational programs in aesthetic and skin care technology.
