**AI Scientist / AI Innovation Specialist** 📍 East Leake, UK 💰 £29,500 per annum 📄 3\-Month Temporary Contract (Potential Extension) We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a leading global organisation looking for an AI Scientist / AI Innovation Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is focused on experimentation, innovation, and exploring how AI and data\-driven solutions can create value within the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a “test and learn” environment and has a genuine passion for AI, emerging technologies, and problem\-solving. Key Responsibilities * Explore and trial AI and data\-driven ideas across different business areas * Build simple proof\-of\-concepts and prototypes using AI tools and technologies * Evaluate results, identify benefits and limitations, and provide clear recommendations * Research emerging AI trends, tools, and digital technologies * Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand opportunities for innovation * Communicate findings clearly, including lessons learned from unsuccessful trials * Support experimentation with low\-risk, practical AI initiatives Skills \& Experience * Interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Automation * Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, OpenAI APIs, LLMs, or similar technologies * Basic programming or scripting skills such as Python, SQL, or data analysis tools would be beneficial * Strong analytical and problem\-solving mindset * Comfortable working with ambiguity and exploratory projects * Ability to explain technical findings in a simple and clear way * Experience with proof\-of\-concept work, prototyping, or innovation projects is desirable Ideal Background We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds including: * AI / Data Science * Python Development * Automation \& Innovation * QA Automation with AI exposure * Research \& Development * Digital Transformation * Technical or Scientific environments What Success Looks Like * Clear evaluation of ideas and experiments * Useful recommendations for future AI opportunities * Simple but effective prototypes and demonstrations * Strong collaboration and communication across teams If you are curious about AI, enjoy experimenting with new technologies, and want to contribute to innovation\-focused projects, we would love to hear from you.
