Web Developer

**Role Description** We are looking for a skilled Website Developer to support the development and enhancement of our international conference and industry directory platforms. This is not a basic WordPress role, we are looking for someone who understands conversion, performance, and modern user experience. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage high\-performance WordPress websites * Build conversion\-focused landing pages for global events * Implement interactive features (maps, directories, filters, dashboards) * Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive web design standards * Experience in using web development frameworks and tools * Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance * Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to execute campaigns   Requirements: * Strong experience in WordPress (custom builds preferred) * Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Experience with API integrations and interactive elements * Solid understanding of responsive design and performance optimization * Ability to move at pace and deliver high\-quality outputs within aggressive timelines * Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast\-paced environment * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field *Nice to Have:* * *Experience working on event platforms or B2B directories* * *Exposure to advanced UI/UX or animations (GSAP, etc.)*
