Usmani \& Co. Chartered Accountants (UCO) is looking for a qualified or part-qualified accounting professional to join us and support client engagement on a hybrid basis. If you enjoy advisory-led work and take pride in timely, accurate reporting, we'd like to hear from you.

About the role

You will manage and advise on the accounting, tax and reporting function for a client engagement. The transaction volume is modest, but the role calls for sound technical judgement, regular advisory input, and consistently timely reporting. You'll be employed by UCO and work directly with the client's team on day-to-day matters.

What you'll do

· Provide ongoing tax and accounting advisory and respond to queries as they arise

· Oversee routine accounting and ensure the books are accurate and up to date

· Prepare and deliver periodic financial and management reports on time

· Manage tax compliance, including income tax and sales tax matters

· Liaise directly with the client's team and key stakeholders

Who we're looking for

· A qualified CA with at least

2 years'

relevant experience;

or

· A part-qualified CA, a qualified ACCA, or a qualified ACMA, with a minimum of

5 years'

relevant experience

Work arrangement

· Hybrid: two half-days per week on-site in Karachi, with the remainder working remotely approximately 15 hours per week
