Job Description
The Job's Mission The Warehouse Operative will support the company’s distribution activities to meet quality standards and exceed the customers expectation. They will have responsibility for ensuring all production activities are completed (receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping) to ensure our customers received their orders. There will also be a requirement to support with continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the operation remains compliant and evolves to better support the business.
Key Activities \& Accountabilities:
- Support the department manager in achieving divisional KPIs and objectives.
- Responsible for delivering all production-based activities
- Receiving products and putting away in locators
- Picking, packing and shipping products to our customers.
- Escalate any discrepancies or operational issues to the department manager.
- Identify area for continuous improvement, increasing efficiencies and reducing costs.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at local and regional level.
- Promote a safe working environment and champion quality, ensuring all activities are completed with 100% accuracy.
- Drive engagement to align with the company’s culture.
- Be an expert in departmental processes.
- Any other reasonable request in line with the operational needs of the business.
Requirements:
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication \& interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to a changing environment
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with cross-functional partners developing positive working relationships
Preferred:
- Fluent Swedish
- Previous warehouse/distribution centre experience
- Forklift license
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
