**Job Title: Waiter / Waitress (Part\-Time)** **Venue:** Bank de León **Location:** Wolverhampton City Centre **Reports to:** Floor Manager / Duty Manager **Role Overview:** As a Waiter/Waitress at Bank de León, you will play a key role in delivering a high\-quality dining experience within a vibrant, Caribbean\-inspired bar and restaurant setting. You will be responsible for providing attentive, friendly, and efficient table service while maintaining the venue’s premium atmosphere and service standards. **Key Responsibilities:** **Guest Experience \& Service:** * Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional approach * Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently * Serve food and beverages in a timely and presentable manner * Create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for all guests * Build rapport with customers and ensure a positive dining experience **Food \& Beverage Knowledge:** * Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, including Caribbean dishes and drinks * Make recommendations and upsell menu items, specials, and promotions * Communicate clearly with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure order accuracy **Operations \& Cleanliness:** * Set up and clear tables efficiently * Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the floor area * Assist with opening and closing duties * Ensure all service areas meet hygiene and presentation standards **Teamwork \& Communication:** * Work closely with bar staff, kitchen staff, and management * Support colleagues during busy periods * Communicate effectively to ensure smooth and timely service **Compliance \& Standards:** * Follow all health \& safety and food hygiene regulations * Adhere to licensing laws and responsible service practices * Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times **Skills \& Requirements:** * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment * Positive attitude and team\-oriented mindset * Reliable, punctual, and flexible (evenings \& weekends required) **Desirable:** * Previous hospitality or waiting experience * Interest in food, drinks, and Caribbean culture **What We Offer:** * Competitive hourly pay * Staff training and development * A fun, energetic working environment * Opportunities for progression
