Job Description
At Space Race Cannabis, we're on a mission to boldly elevate the cannabis experience across Canada. Since acquiring our license we’ve taken off across multiple provinces and territories—including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
We are seeking an experienced and driven VP Sales and Marketing to lead our growing sales team and execute our national sales strategy. This role is key to our continued growth and will focus on managing a dynamic sales force, driving revenue, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts across multiple provinces and territories.
* Provide strategic leadership across both Sales and Marketing functions, developing and executing a national go\-to\-market strategy to drive brand growth and revenue across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut and beyond.
* Lead, mentor, and expand the sales organization, including direct management of the National Brand Manager, Territory Managers, and Inside Sales Representatives.
* Oversee revenue performance from all major and key retail accounts, building high\-level relationships with top retailers and acting as the executive point of contact for strategic partnerships.
* Set aggressive yet achievable sales and marketing targets, coach leadership team members, and implement performance management systems to consistently exceed company revenue and brand objectives.
* Direct the development and execution of seasonal promotions, trade marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and national marketing plans in alignment with overall business goals.
* Own sales forecasting, competitive analysis, and market intelligence while collaborating closely with the Sales Team on positioning, product launches, and brand storytelling.
* Build and maintain strategic account plans for key retail partners, driving deeper penetration, exclusive programs, and long\-term growth opportunities across the Canadian cannabis market.
* Deliver executive\-level sales and marketing reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership while fostering cross\-functional collaboration to support rapid national expansion.
This is a full\-time, in\-person leadership role with regular travel across Canada. Space Race Cannabis offers a competitive compensation package (base \+ bonus) and significant career growth potential in a fast\-moving cannabis brand.
Salary Range: $115,000 to $135,000 plus STIP Eligible
Location: Edmonton, Alberta.
