**Vice President of Sales\- Hearth**

**Position Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven leader to join our organization as the Vice President of Sales for the Hearth segment of our business. This role is responsible for developing and executing the hearth sales strategy while meeting or exceeding overall revenue and performance expectations.
The Vice President of Sales provides leadership and direction to the hearth sales teams, coaching and developing talent to achieve both short‑ and long‑term business objectives. This position plays a key role in driving sales effectiveness, building a high‑performance culture, and strengthening customer and vendor relationships.
The VP of Sales works closely with the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and collaborates with other members of the Leadership Team to align sales initiatives with broader organizational strategies and growth goals.
**Responsibilities**
· Develop and execute the overall hearth sales strategy, including annual budget, to drive sustainable revenue growth.
· Identify new market opportunities, including dealer and geographic expansion opportunities.
· Lead, coach, and manage a sales team including regional, inside and territory managers maximizing performance expectations.
· Manage vendor relationships in conjunction with the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
· Ensure sales execution supports profitability goals while remaining competitive in the market.
· Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives in conjunction with the Leadership Team.
· Promote a culture of positivity and accountability with the sales teams, leading to overall success with the department.
**Qualifications**
· Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience required.
· 10\+ years' experience in progressive sales management, including leadership level position.
· Proven experience in distribution wholesale required, preferably in the hearth industry or adjacent industry.
· Proven ability to lead and develop high performing sales teams, creating a culture of accountability and positivity.
· Ability to travel as needed through assigned territory manager territories and distribution locations.
· Strong sales background, preferably in the hearth or adjacent industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
