The Opportunity

Pool Centurion is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Human Resources to lead and strengthen the people function for a growing, multi-location field services organization. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role will serve as the senior HR leader responsible for building scalable people practices, developing frontline leadership capability, improving workforce stability, and supporting continued organizational growth.

This is not a traditional corporate HR role.

Our business is built on the success of field-based employees, operational leaders, and branch teams serving customers throughout South Florida. The VP of HR will partner closely with operations leadership to drive consistency, accountability, employee engagement, recruiting effectiveness, manager development, and workforce planning across a geographically dispersed workforce.

The ideal candidate understands the realities of supporting hourly employees, frontline supervisors, branch operations, and field-based teams. They know how to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and are comfortable spending time in the business, not just behind a desk.

This role will be instrumental in helping the organization strengthen culture, improve retention, elevate leadership capability, and create a more consistent employee experience across multiple locations.

Spanish language proficiency is strongly preferred due to the composition of the workforce.

Who Thrives Here

This role is best suited for HR leaders who have supported large hourly workforces in operational environments.

We are specifically interested in candidates with experience in industries such as:

  • Home Services
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Pool Services
  • Landscaping
  • Pest Control
  • Construction
  • Transportation and Logistics
  • Manufacturing
  • Distribution and Warehousing
  • Facilities Services
  • Multi-Site Operations

The majority of our workforce is field-based, hourly, and dispersed across multiple locations.

Successful candidates understand:

  • High-volume recruiting
  • Frontline workforce management
  • Employee relations involving hourly employees
  • Workers' compensation and safety programs
  • Wage and hour compliance
  • Multi-location operations
  • Retention and engagement of frontline employees
  • Bilingual and multicultural workforces
  • Leading through change in fast-paced environments

Candidates whose experience has been primarily within corporate, technology, financial services, consulting, or other predominantly white-collar environments may not have the operational experience necessary for success in this role.
