Main Activities and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager VIP/Venue Hotels the Manager, Venue Hotel will be a key member of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Accommodation team and will work in close collaboration Operational Services Team and other key individuals responsible for delivering all FIFA\-related operations at the venue hotel, ensuring seamless coordination of services, logistics, rooming lists, and daily operations while acting as the primary on\-site liaison between the hotel, FIFA HQ, and other stakeholders.
The main responsibilities and oversight of the Manager, Venue Hotel for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
* Consolidate the requirements from all FIFA Functional Areas at the Venue Hotel
* Brief the hotel on the FIFA workforce standard operations with all involved hotel departments
* Responsible for the activation of all services reserved by FIFA at the Venue Hotel (meeting rooms, laundry, F\&B arrangements…)
* Coordinate and supervise all logistic operations (storage, deliveries…)
* Ensure readiness of the meeting rooms and F\&B services on daily basis
* Daily reporting and meetings with FIFA HQ
* On\-site issue resolution with the hotel and the workforce staff
* Manage and check rooming list check on daily basis, ensuring readiness of the room for the arrivals
* On\-site point of contact for the Reservation team at the tournament HQ ensuring follow\-ups on the room inventory and releases
* Support the Team Hotel Manager as necessary and most particularly for overlapping teams' arrivals
* Support the VIP Hotel Manager as necessary
* Monitor invoices provided by the hotel and check all accounts on daily basis.
* Match final invoice to actualized rooms and ensure credits and complimentary rooms are applied

Your Profile
**Education \& Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, management, leadership, entrepreneurship)
* Postgraduate Education focusing on International Organizations or Sport Management preferred, but not required
* Willingness to work outside core working hours (online workshops accommodating different time zones)
**Work Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, management, leadership, entrepreneurship)
* Postgraduate Education focusing on International Organizations or Sport Management preferred, but not required
* Willingness to work outside core working hours (online workshops accommodating different time zones)
* 5 years experience in planning and leading in a guest\-related service environment
* Strong background in managing high\-end or luxury hotel services, ensuring VIP and VVIP guest experiences meet premium standards.
* Proven ability to manage high\-profile clients, coordinate with hotel management, and ensure seamless guest experiences.
* Experience in monitoring invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring contract compliance with hotel services.
* Ability to liaise with FIFA Functional Areas, hotel staff, and other key stakeholders to implement service levels and operational plans.
* Skilled in on\-the\-spot issue resolution, ensuring smooth operations under pressure.
* Understanding of tournament operations and large\-scale accommodation management.
**Languages**
* Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
**Technology**
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio \& Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
