**The job duties and activities will vary depending on the position. Some examples include, but are not limited to:**
**SP\-03 Opportunities (Salary Range $59,623\- $65,813\)**
* Respond to enquiries from internal and external clients and taxpayers, providing information, guidance, and directing issues to the appropriate area as required.
* Verify, analyze and assess prescribed forms, documents and claims from taxpayers.
* Provide administrative and organizational support to management, organize agendas and meetings as needed.
* Contact taxpayers by phone to clarify information or request additional details.
**SP\-04 Opportunities ( Salary Range $65,389\- $73,595\)**
* Review and analyze taxpayer information to identify and resolve accounts requiring corrective action.
* Resolve complex enquiries and provide clear verbal and written explanations to taxpayers.
* Update and maintain information systems in accordance with service standards.
* Contact taxpayers and third parties to obtain information, collect outstanding amounts, and address compliance issues.
* Communicate with taxpayers and representatives by phone and in writing, including handling inbound and outbound calls.
**Intent Of The Process**
This process aims to fill various SP\-03 and SP\-04 positions within the Atlantic Region. When you apply to this staffing process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, candidates who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
We may create separate lists of qualified candidates based on specific staffing requirements which may be used to staff current and future vacancies as well as similar positions.
Employees are required to work on\-site at a CRA\-approved location a minimum of three days per week or 60% of their regular monthly work schedule. Individual exceptions may be granted based on individual circumstances and the nature of the work being performed.

**Who Can Apply**
Any individual residing in Canada, and Canadian citizens and permanent residents residing abroad who recently graduated (or will graduate) from a recognized secondary (High School) or post secondary institution within the last five (5\) years (May 2021 to May 2026\).

Preference for appointment will be given to veterans first, followed by Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

**Minimum staffing requirement**
**Education**
**At minimum, the successful completion of a secondary school (high school) diploma. \*Proof of education required.**

**Note:**
While prior experience is not required, preference may be given to candidates who have specific experience related to the position being staffed as outlined below. This experience must have been obtained in a professional, academic, or volunteer setting.
* Experience providing general administrative support services in an office environment such as managing mailboxes, sorting mail, multi\-tasking, creating reports.
* Experience using computer technologies including but not limited to: Microsoft Office software or equivalent (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word), PDFs, printers, Internet search engines.
* Experience in customer service or in a contact centre environment.
**Required**

**Asset Staffing Requirements**
Asset staffing requirements may also be assessed during the staffing process and may be used to identify candidates for positions.
