Our client National Bank of Pakistan is looking for a Unit Head – RDA Investments Settlement (AVP / VP) in Karachi

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
Position / Job Title:
Unit Head RDA Investments Settlement (AVP / VP)
Reporting to:
Wing Head RDA Operations
Educational /Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
- Candidates having a Masters degree or any professional degree will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of banking experience in Treasury Operations and / or Payment Services
- Preference will be given to the candidates having hands-on experience in settlement of RDA products
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
- Adequate understanding of treasury products and business acumen
- Comprehensive knowledge of treasury settlements / remittances
- Proficient in use of MS Office
- Hands on experience in Core Banking \& Treasury Applications
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good business communication and analytical skills
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
:
- To supervise the end-to-end settlement of Government Securities \& Equity Trades and ensure all transactions are aligned with regulatory guidelines
- To ensure to manage the settlement of Naya Pakistan Certificates, including subscription, encashments, maturities, profit distribution in line with SBP instructions
- To monitor the deals execution from SBP Auctions, OMOs, SBP discounting, floor lending to SBP and timely exchange of agreements and payments instructions / cheques
- To ensure daily reconciliation of Treasury positions / Securities / Nostro Accounts / Settlement balances / SBP vs System balances to identify and escalate the variances
- To review and analyze MIS reports for onward submission to stakeholders or Regulator
- To ensure timely escalation of critical issues, settlement delays or system-related glitches to relevant stake holders
- To assist teams in conducting Audit / inspections, data acquisitions / walkthroughs, respond accordingly to the audit observations
- To identify process gaps and recommend automations or process improvement for efficiency and risk reduction
- To analyze training needs and assist teams in learning
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
