Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tekla Detailer role based in Kasur. The Tekla Detailer will create accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication and erection drawings for steel structures, pre-engineered buildings, and related components using Tekla Structures. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering designs, reviewing architectural and structural drawings, modeling connections and assemblies, and generating shop drawings, GA drawings, reports, and CNC/NC files. The role involves coordinating with design engineers, project managers, and production teams to resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance with standards, and support smooth fabrication and installation. The Tekla Detailer will also perform drawing checks, update models based on revisions, and maintain organized documentation for ongoing and completed projects.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for 3D modeling, detailing of steel structures, and generation of fabrication/erection drawings.
- Solid understanding of structural steel, pre-engineered buildings, and industrial structures, including connections, joints, and standard detailing practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and structural engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, GA drawings, material lists, and reports to support fabrication and site installation.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in dimensions and modeling, and capability to perform self-checks and revisions efficiently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, production teams, and project managers on-site.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with CAD tools and related software; knowledge of industry standards and codes is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field preferred.
- Prior experience as a Tekla Detailer or Steel Detailer in industrial or building projects is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Kasur, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
