**Your Responsibilities As a Teaching Assistant**
* Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
* Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
* Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
* Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists.
* Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup.
* Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
* Provide assistance with lesson plans.
* Support children across the curriculum.
* Give extra support to children with special needs.
* Help mark work.
* Report student progress.
* Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
* Look after children that are unwell.
* Attend meetings.
* Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
* A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
**Essential Requirements**
* Experience working with young people.
* Class management skills.
* Comfort managing challenging behaviour.
* Able to engage with and motivate children.
* TA Qualified (Level 2 or 3\).
