Teaching Assistant - English as an Additional Language - EAL (High School)

The American Embassy School, New Delhi, has a vacancy for the position of  Teaching Assistant (EAL) in the High School. **Position Summary:** The position is responsible to the professional staff member(s) with whom the individual is assigned to work and to the designated Principal/Assistant Principal. Duties and responsibilities include: providing support to the classroom teacher in the delivery of the curriculum, functioning as a substitute for the classroom teacher, partnering with the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe and healthy environment, supervising students during lunch, collaborating with the classroom teacher in housekeeping matters, and contributing to a professional and collegial atmosphere. **Mandatory Requirements** **Qualification:**   * B.Ed. from a recognized institution * Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English As An Additional Language (EAL), History, or English **Experience:** 2\+ years of relevant experience in providing learning support in a reputed educational institution.  **Work hours:** 8 hours per day  **Workdays:** 187 workdays in a year  **Starting salary:** Rs. 68,600/\- per month, based on experience, skills, and qualifications, with additional benefits such as PF, Gratuity, Medical, etc.  **TO APPLY:** To apply, please include a resume, a cover letter and contact details of two professional references; and apply through our online web portal: https://careers.aes.ac.in/vacancies/
