The company serves as an official representative of over 40 Australian universities, supporting students in accessing quality international education. Established in 1995, AusPak International has extensive experience guiding prospective Pakistani students through every stage of their study-abroad journey. Services include counseling, application processing, visa assistance, and arrival support, delivered in coordination with an onshore AEC office in Melbourne, Australia.
Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Faisalabad. This position involves providing individualized student and career counseling, helping prospective students choose suitable courses, institutions, and study pathways in Australia. The Student Counselor will guide students through application preparation, documentation requirements, and visa procedures, while ensuring timely and accurate communication with partner universities and internal teams. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, responding to student and family inquiries, maintaining up-to-date records, and delivering high-quality customer service. The role also involves participating in information sessions, outreach activities, and continuous learning about international education trends and policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners in making informed education and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Education systems, preferably with familiarity with Australian higher education and study-abroad processes.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to maintain accurate digital records and reports.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Sciences, or a related field; prior experience in academic advising or student services is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and demonstrate cultural sensitivity when supporting students from different backgrounds.
