Structural Engineer

**JOB TITLE :** STRUCTURAL ENGINEER **POSITION DESCRIPTION :** The Structural Engineer will provide critical technical support for the structural design coordination and review process on a major high\-rise residential development located in Gurugram, India. The project comprises 8 premium apartment towers with a combined built\-up area of approximately 690,000 m². Reporting to the Structural Manager, the Structural Engineer will participate in the multidisciplinary design review process, focusing on reviewing structural design submissions, ensuring code compliance, and supporting site\-related engineering resolutions. This role plays an essential part in facilitating integration between architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines, while also contributing to constructability reviews, technical document preparation, and contractor engagement during design and construction stages. The Structural Engineer will also assist in shop drawing reviews, technical evaluations, and coordination with quality and construction teams for structural\-related issues. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILIITES :** * Review structural drawings and calculations submitted by consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements and design standards. * Conduct interdisciplinary design reviews in coordination with architectural, MEP, and façade engineers. * Identify and track structural design issues, RFIs, and clash points; escalate unresolved items to the Structural Manager. * Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for all major structural works. * Support constructability reviews and suggest alternatives that enhance buildability and structural efficiency. * Participate in technicals meetings and coordination workshops with consultants and contractors. * Prepare and maintain design comment logs, design compliance matrices, and technical documentation. * Assist in developing structural coordination drawings and review markups. * Monitor structural\-related issues on site and provide engineering input during construction supervision activities. * Ensure structural designs are integrated into project schedules, cost plans, and procurement strategies. * Provide support during inspections, test planning, and close\-out of structural packages. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. * Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering design and coordination, preferably in high\-rise buildings or large\-scale residential/commercial developments. * Proficiency in structural analysis and design tools such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD. * Strong understanding of construction sequencing and structural interfaces. * Familiarity with Indian and international design standards including IS codes, NBC, and relevant global standards. * Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with BIM platforms and document control systems. * Excellent communication and reporting skills in English; local language proficiency is mandatory. * Willingness to relocate and work full\-time on\-site in Gurugram, India. **ESSENTIAL BEHAVIORAL SKILLS** * High attention to detail and accuracy in technical reviews. * Strong collaboration and problem\-solving abilities. * Good interpersonal communication and coordination skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. * Self\-motivated and proactive approach to issue resolution. * Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team environment.
