Storekeeper

*We’re urgently looking for a reliable and detail\-oriented* ***Storekeeper*** *with strong experience in inventory management and warehouse operations, ideally within the marine or oil \& gas industry* . As a ***Storekeeper at ZMI Holdings,*** your primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate handling, storage, and tracking of materials while maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. Detailed responsibilities are as follows: * Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents, and reporting any damages, shortages, and discrepancies. * Unloading, organizing, labeling, and storing materials systematically in designated locations following proper handling practices. * Maintaining accurate and up\-to\-date inventory records using manual and digital systems. * Issuing and dispatching materials to operational teams in a timely and controlled manner. * Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy. * Preparing and maintaining documentation such as stock registers, delivery notes, and reports. * Ensuring warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards at all times. * Operating material handling equipment safely and ensuring proper use of lifting tools and gear. * Adhering to Permit to Work (PTW) systems and maintaining awareness of all related procedures. * Applying ADNOC Life Saving Rules and maintaining a strong HSE mindset in all activities. * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and processes. * Coordinating effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and supervisors. **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent (required). * 5\-6 proven experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control, preferably in marine, offshore, or oil \& gas environments. * Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., MS Excel). * Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards, material handling, and lifting operations. * Understanding of Permit to Work systems and HSE practices is an advantage. * Good organizational, communication, and time management skills. * Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks when required. * Relevant certifications (e.g., forklift operation, inventory, or HSE training) are preferred.
