**Position Summary** University Housing \& Dining is seeking **Storekeeper II position** to join the team at Burge Marketplace. Under general supervision, operates a small storeroom, or is in charge of one or more functions of a large storeroom operation. Provides functional supervision to storeroom personnel as required. University Dining’s goal at Iowa is to provide wholesome, healthy, and tasty foods prepared daily to meet the dietary and nutritional needs of our students. Our staff is committed to providing sustainable products and services that protect our natural resources. When possible, we purchase locally grown and sustainable foods from our vendors. We believe in working together as one team to achieve our mission: fostering student success by creating and promoting educationally purposeful services and activities within and beyond the classroom. **Required Qualifications** One year of work experience in storekeeping, accounting, business administration or job related work, or Any combination of such experience and post high school education that totals one year. Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards. **Desirable Qualifications** * Understanding of ordering cycles, storage standards, food safety, and coordination with receiving, culinary teams, and floor supervisors. * Experience using an automated food control system * Ability to take the ServSafe course and successfully pass the ServSafe test requirements within one year of hire. * Ability to foster a welcoming and respectful workplace environment while recognizing personal differences. **Application Details** * Applicants may upload a resume and cover letter and mark them as a “Relevant File” to the submission for consideration.
