Staff Nurse - NICU

Ajman, United Arab Emirates Trending **Job Description** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will provide high\-quality, patient\-centered nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring continuous monitoring, administering treatments, and supporting their growth and recovery. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and guiding families through the care process with empathy and clear communication. **Responsibilities** * Provide continuous, specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns * Monitor and assess vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall condition * Administer medications, IV therapy, and nutritional support as prescribed * Operate and maintain advanced NICU equipment (ventilators, incubators, monitors) * Assist in emergency procedures and neonatal resuscitation when required * Support feeding plans, including tube and assisted feeding * Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation * Collaborate with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary care team * Educate and support parents, encouraging involvement in newborn care * Ensure strict infection control and safety protocols are followed **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. * Valid nursing license * Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). * BLS/NRP/PALS * Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical\-thinking skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a fast\-paced environment.
