Job Description

We are pleased to invite applications for registered nurses to join our teams on Ward 6A and Ward 6C at Raigmore Hospital.
A full\-time post is available in the newly created Cardiology Unit on Ward 6C, and we are recruiting for 2\.6 wte (full or part time hours) in Ward 6A, our general medical, diabetes and endocrine ward.
Both wards have friendly and supportive teams caring for patients with either cardiology, general medical or diabetes and endocrinology needs. If you have an interest in these specialties, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll join a welcoming multidisciplinary team where everyone works together to provide high\-quality, safe and compassionate care, keeping patients and families at the heart of what we do. In the role you will complete assessment and care planning (including mobility, nutrition, dependency and skin viability) and deliver day\-to\-day nursing care, personal care and observations.
These posts involve working a flexible rota including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

**Additional Information For Candidates**
* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full\-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part\-time hours will be adjusted on a pro\-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
