Staff Nurse - Endoscopy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered nurse to join the Endoscopy Unit at Leigh Infirmary and become part of an evolving and innovative team. **If you have Endoscopy experience we want to hear from you!** We can offer you a training programme where you will be supported by our Clinical educator and other senior staff. This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates. NHS employees should ideally secure their manager's agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made. **This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as it has been established to provide cover for maternity leave and will end on 01\-Dec\-2026 or when the substantive postholder returns.** **Whilst this post is advertised on a fixed term basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.** Candidates are required to hold NMC registration to be eligible to apply for this role. **Please note this vacancy may close earlier than the specified closing date if a high volume of suitable applications are received.** Under the supervision of the Ward Manager the nurse is responsible for the provision, organisation and direction of nursing care of the patients in their care. To communicate effectively with all members of the multi disciplinary team to ensure safe and high quality care is provided to all patients.
