Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients as per hospital protocols
  • Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and maintain accurate nursing records
  • Assist doctors during rounds and medical procedures
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control practices
  • Educate patients and attend to their needs with empathy and professionalism
  • Coordinate with duty doctors and other departments for seamless patient care
  • Maintain ward cleanliness, equipment readiness, and adequate stock of consumables

Requirements

  • Valid

Tamil Nadu Nursing Council (TNNC)

registration

  • Good communication and patient-handling skills
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Preferred Skills

  • ICU / ER / Ward experience preferred
  • Strong patient care \& counselling skills
  • Excellent bedside nursing practices

Job Description:

  • Prepare and maintain OT as per sterility and infection control protocols
  • Assist surgeons during procedures and handle instruments safely
  • Ensure availability and proper functioning of OT instruments, equipment, and consumables
  • Verify patient consent, case sheets, and pre-operative checklists
  • Monitor patient vitals during procedures and report any abnormalities
  • Maintain OT documentation and follow hospital protocols
  • Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and OT team for smooth case flow

Requirements:

  • GNM / B.Sc Nursing
  • OT experience preferred
  • Knowledge of OT protocols, sterility standards \& patient safety
  • Willing to work in shifts
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
