**We have an urgent requirement for Software Engineer(Security Patch \& Release )** **with** **experience in banking platform(** **core, corporate, consumer, digital)** **is required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi ,UAE** **Accelerated patch deployment with automated regression testing for mission\-critical banking platforms, API security remediation aligned to OWASP API Security Top 10, CI/CD pipeline integration for security patch validation across multiple banking platforms (core, corporate, consumer, digital)\-\-** **Must** **remediate software vulnerabilities (e.g., addressing OWASP Top 10 and API security issues)\-\-** **Must** **integrate patch validation into CI/CD pipelines\-\-** **Must** **Strong Banking domain \-** **\-Must** **Job Summary** We are seeking a Security Patch \& Release Engineer to ensure timely, stable, and secure deployment of patches across mission\-critical banking applications. This role owns accelerated patch deployment with automated regression testing, remediates vulnerabilities aligned to OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10, and integrates security patch validation into CI/CD pipelines. You will safeguard core, corporate, consumer, and digital banking platforms by ensuring every update is tested, documented, and released without operational impact. **Key Responsibilities:** **Accelerated Patch Deployment** Drive end\-to\-end security patch deployment across core banking, corporate, consumer, and digital platforms. Meet strict SLAs for critical vulnerabilities while ensuring zero unplanned downtime. Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and change management teams. **Automated Regression Testing** Design and maintain automated regression test suites to validate system stability post\-patching. Integrate testing into pipelines to catch functional, performance, and security regressions before production release **Vulnerability Remediation** Identify, prioritize, and remediate software vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10 and API security issues. Work with development teams to implement secure code fixes and validate effectiveness of patches. **CI/CD Security Validation** Embed patch validation gates into CI/CD pipelines. Automate security checks, smoke tests, and rollback procedures. Ensure all releases pass security and quality gates before promotion to production. **Release Management \& Documentation** Prepare detailed release notes, impact assessments, and rollback plans for production changes. Communicate risk, dependencies, and validation results to stakeholders. Maintain audit\-ready evidence for change control. **DevOps Collaboration** Partner closely with DevOps, QA, AppSec, and Platform teams to streamline secure release processes. Troubleshoot post\-deployment issues and drive continuous improvement in patch velocity and safety. **Required Qualifications \& Skills Experience:** **Experience** : 5\+ years in software maintenance, release engineering, or DevSecOps with 2\+ years supporting enterprise or banking applications. **Patching \& Testing:** Strong hands\-on experience with patch management tools, automated testing frameworks: Selenium, JUnit, PyTest, Postman/Newman, or equivalent. Experience with regression, smoke, and API testing. **CI/CD \& DevOps:** Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. IaC experience: Terraform, Ansible. Container/K8s patching knowledge a plus. **Security Remediation:** Practical knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10, SAST/DAST findings triage, and secure coding fixes. Familiarity with tools like SonarQube, Snyk, Checkmarx. **Banking Platforms:** Understanding of core banking systems, digital channels, and API ecosystems. Experience with change control and production release processes in regulated environments. **Documentation:** Ability to produce clear release notes, impact assessments, and RCA documents for audits and CAB reviews.
